IR reform was a key differential in the 2022 Federal Election, and the amendments to the Fair Work Act made on 6 December 22 arising from the Secure Jobs, Better Pay Bill have resulted in some of the most significant changes to the federal industrial relations system since the introduction of the Fair Work Act.

There are a number of amendments which Employers must familiarise themselves with including in relation to:

  • Pay Secrecy

  • Sexual Harassment and Discrimination

  • Enterprise Bargaining

  • Fixed Term Contracts

  • Flexible Work Arrangements

To understand your obligations as an employer, and to make sure your business' policies, procedures and practices are up to date, book a consultation with one of our Senior Consultants or give us a call today.
